Ця скульптура — це профіль людського обличчя.
Архітектор Георгій Куровський помітив, що правобережна частина Києва нагадує повернуте в профіль людське обличчя. А потім, завдяки світлині, зробленій із супутника, ця гіпотеза підтвердилася.
За легендою, це портрет легендарного князя Кия, який разом з братами і сестрою заснував наше місто.
The Face of Kyiv
This sculpture is the profile of the human face.
The architect Heorhii Kurovskyi noticed that the right bank of Kyiv reminds of the human face profile. Later on, thanks to the satellite image, this hypothesis was confirmed.
Legend has it that this is the portrait of the legendary prince Kyi who along with his brothers and sister founded our city.
Хто мене потре, – обличчя міста збереже.
The one who rubs me will save the face of the city.
